Kindergarten Program Tonight!

Hi All,

Sorry I'm so terrible about updating you but just wanted to let you know that my kindergarten program is happening tonight at 6 P.M. So if you are thinking about it at 8 P.M. Minnesota time, 6 P.m. California time, or anytime, please pray that the sound system does well and that the wind dies down for the 20 minute program. It's like a tornado out there right now. Thanks so much!

Easter Sunday!

The beautiful place settings at the table.  I was adopted by another teacher from my school.  She invited me to lunch at her sister's house.  It was very nice and you can tell that her sister really likes to decorate.

Pam's sister Nancy on the left and friend Jody on right pointing out all of the different plants in the garden.  I think there was spaghetti squash, tomato plants, and spinach.  It reminded me of being at Aunt Janet's house a bit.  Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture with Pam, but oh well.  It was a very nice easter.

Justin, Elisa, and Sieara Visit Me in AZ

Justin, Elisa, and Sieara came to visit last Thursday and stayed through until Monday, March 29th, 2010. It was so nice to have them here and here are a few of the highlights of the trip. :) Always glad to have company and miss all of my family back home as well.

Minutes after picking them up from the airport, Sieara is looking about tired.

We went to Sedona on Saturday, Mach 28th and as always it was beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky.

Checked out the Chapel on the Rock.

Zonked out after a long day in Sedona. (The day before Justin, Elisa, and Sieara made it to the Grand Canyon as well-in 1 day!)

Visiting Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa, AZ. Sieara bobbed her head almost the entire evening. She seemed to love the quieter music.

It was easy to forget to eat while watching the production, but mom was smart and came prepared with everything Sieara might need.

It was a wonderful trip and hard to say goodbye, but always is with friends and family. Just wish mom, dad, Kyle, Rachel, and Lydia could have also come on the same visit. :)

~Rain and Art Festivals~

Here's a short little look into the beautiful Arizona weather. Last weekend it rained on my way home and I snapped a quick shot. It was beautiful to see a rainbow the next day right after it rained.

This rainbow came out right after I parked my car at my friend Melissa's. I had to snap a picture :)

Such pretty flowers at the art festival. I took this picture of an iris for mom since she loves irises.

This weekend I went to an art festival and my favorite thing was seeing a sunflower growing right in the middle of downtown Phoenix!

While the movie might have been a tad bit trippy, Alice in Wonderland was in 3D, so these hip glasses needed a picture. From left to right, Megan, Melissa, and Leah. Good times had by all!
